As I was going to bed last night, I felt “burdened” by the name of Christ. Thoughts of this Christian standard being impossible to live up to bombarded my mind and heart. I knew all the right verses about easy yoke but in the moment, all I kept thinking was:

God, why have me wear Your name if I’m not equipped to overcome the attacks I will suffer for it?

Then immediately it clicked.. of course God wouldn’t be so heartless! So foolish! If I’ve been marked by His name, then I have also been marked with His authority and supernatural strength. Anything else is just a deceptive sway that we must recognize and immediately cast out; so I prayed over the hotel room and woke up victorious.
